Μέχρι το 2011 αυτή ήταν η πιο καυτερή πιπεριά στον κόσμο! Με μονάδες Scoville μεταξύ 800.000 ~ 1.001.300 μπορείτε να ονομάσετε αυτό το πιπέρι πυρηνικό. Αυτή η πιπεριά τσίλι είναι 125 φορές πιο καυτερή από μια Jalapeno! Προέρχεται από τη βορειοανατολική Ινδία, το Assam, το Nagaland και το Manipur.

Η Bhut Jolokia (ή Naga Jolokia) είναι δύο φορές πιο καυτερό από τον προηγούμενο πρωταθλητή, την Red Savina, και καταγράφηκε στο βιβλίο των ρεκόρ Γκίνες ως η πιο καυτερή πιπεριά στον κόσμο. Τα φυτά μπορούν να φτάσουν τα 45-120 cm.Οι λοβοί έχουν μήκος 4 έως 8,5 cm και πλάτος 2,5 έως 3 cm. Η Bhut Jolokia αγαπά τη ζέστη και την υγρασία, αλλά με λίγη επιπλέον φροντίδα και αγάπη θα αναπτυχθεί καλά σε ένα πιο δροσερό κλίμα.

Ο χρόνος βλάστησης είναι παρόμοιος με τις πιπεριές Habanero, επομένως θα πάρει περισσότερο χρόνο από άλλες. Μην απελπίζεστε αν δεν δείτε τίποτα μετά από 3 εβδομάδες! Το Bhut Jolokia έχει μακρά καλλιεργητική περίοδο. Από αυτό το είδος είναι γνωστό ότι μερικά λουλούδια του φυτού μπορούν να πέσουν.

Within the Athens Basin, orders weighing up to 1.0 kg cost €3.20.

Each additional kg is charged with €0.70 for the Athens Basin and €1.40 for the Rest of Greece - Attica.

For orders over €100.00, shipping within the Athens Basin (LOCAL DELIVERY) is free and €200.00 for the rest of Greece - Attica.
